Western Australia 

 

There are three broad climate divisions. The northern part is dry tropical, receiving (southern) summer rainfall. The south western corner has a Mediterranean climate with long hot summers and wet winters. The remainder is mostly arid land with desert climates. Average daily hour of sunshine, 7.9

The NT lies in the torrid zone.
