Gross total: On this trip we had to cross a number of creek- or river beds. Most of them were dry at this period of the year. None of them was difficult to negotiate, however, even if there was water in it. |

Tip: Due to severe flood damage, the Upper Manning Gorge, and the bush camp were closed. The managers hoped to re-open the gorge and the bush camp in July 2002. Mt. Barnett Roadhouse was open, however, and you can buy fuel, and snacks during their usual trading hours. Jack's Waterhole (Durack River Station) has also been damaged during the wet season and is scheduled to re-open not earlier than 2003.
